Wednesday’s Wink … { vases arrived ! safe + sound }

I sometimes wonder if we scare our UPS/FedEx peeps, bec. when we are waiting for packages to arrive we restrain from TACKLING them for our goods. The beauty of tracking#s … we know when u r coming yeaaahhh! I must give props to the packaging job at West Elm, the vases were very well protected. Little things like this makes this interior decorator very happy and appreciative!

I have had projects were items arrived damaged and though we know that we can get an exchange WE WANT IT ARRIVE IN PERFECT CONDITION IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! .. ooh sorry for the yelling, I got a bit excited there! So, here’s the beautiful ‘safe’ vase:

Isn’t it ADORABLE? It complements my Eames rocking chair … so I HAD TO get it, riiiight???? Next Wed I’ll show you how I styled fake, artificial, whaaa-they-are-not-real flowers for the vases (I got 1 small and 1 large vase) in my own home.

Yesterday was paint PREP day for our contractors in our Brooklyn (Prospect Park) 2 bedroom apartment project … spackling,sanding, fun! Today I’m wrapping up a dining room design (sourcing furniture/accessories/art, placement layout, having coffee [caffeine is a must!], choosing wall paint colors) for my clients in Fleetwood (westchester county), which means … I have to stop blogging right now and get to work!
