Happy mid week!!! Today I’m posting some pics of an onsite ideas consultation I did a while ago for a dining area and living room. These clients called me back for a consult on their bedroom so I was able to peek at what they did do from the last consult to their living room/dining. As soon as I walked in ….. a huge SMILE surfaced on my face. They did a GREAT JOB implementing the ideas I had given them, like … adding sheer curtains to a wall, adding a round tall floor lamp to balance their high ceilings, adding a variety of pillows to their current sofa for visual interest, adding long luxurious blue curtains to the window area, adding a LARGE mirror in the dining area to open up the space, mixing the dining chairs for cool variety (they used fabric chairs + wood chairs in their mix). And did you see the gorgeous rectangular chandelier below??? … double the gorgeousness w/the mirror reflection! …
In the living room, I had also suggested replacing their 1/2 circle console table with a black rectangular one (check out below the beautiful one that they ended up adding!!). Black color recommended to flow nicely with their black (painted) framed mirror. And bec of their high ceilings I suggested that they add photo frames vertically mounted above the console table. And yep, even the flowers on the console table was suggested.
For my Onsite Ideas Consults I visit the clients and as we walk through the room(s), I provide them with ideas/guide on what to add, remove, replace, relocate, paint, etc. cool etc! The service does not include me telling them to by ‘X’ item at ‘Z’ store, but a guide in shape/size/color of new items. The consult would take much looooooonger if it involved sourcing items for them (since I would have to measure the room and compare it to the dimensions of the potential item <– I do that for my full service!). However, if clients have photos from stores that they are considering to order (but not sure if it would go well within the room), I’m happy to review all to make sure the items maintains a cohesive design flow. Yikes, this post turned out longer than I thought, I’m off to place furniture orders for one of my full service clients. Have a beautiful day!
