Happy weekend! Look who we spotted as we drove into manhattan …. it’s SANTA!!!!!
Then all of a sudden there were MORE ….. what the?
Then we remembered it was SantaCon day in NYC. Which is basically a bar crawl day where participants (santas, elves, reindeers = custom is a MUST plussss they need to donate 2 cans of food for charity, then they get a list of places, aka: bars, that happily await santa + friends). It is very funny to see santa smoking outside of bars (it tickles my New York sarcastic attitude!) Can you spot the reindeer below waiting on line? .. and the Santa smoking?
We went into Manhattan (which is 30 - 45 minutes away from our home in Westchester County to see an off-broadway play. It just happened to be the CENTRAL station for the SantaCon … which was icing on the day-cake for me. The play was GREAT too.
I have been very busy (hence the not blogging much) bec of a design install in Manhattan (being onsite w/contractor for furniture placement, art placement, and more … I am excited to share pics of the days ..project includes stenciling a fireplace which turned out AWESOME!!!, I also had an edesign I had to complete by this Friday (for a living room / dining room .. and I also managed to add a library to the design woohoooo!), pluuuuus (besides the cRaZy last minute shopping for xmas presents), I had tix to 2 shows to catch (the above) and Grinch The Musical (which was oookaaay, not my top fave), also a dinner cruise (pics below) . Ooooh yeah, I also hosted a last minute xmas parteee at our home(phew!). The pic taken at the dinner cruise became our photo holiday card this year ….
