So just because Halloween is OVER (I love caaaaannndy! oh, sorry I digress)…. where was I … oh yes … just because Halloween day is over doesn’t mean you can’t decorate with your pumpkins anymore! Quite the contrary … recycle your Halloween pumpkin decor. How? PAINT! Any color you wish to use …. silver (maybe even add glitter), red, green, blue. Perfect for a centerpiece, fireplace mantle, console decor, or even a cute nightstand decor to remind you of the holidays coming and the beauty of ’creating’! Check out these designs from Happy Mundane and visit their blogsite for more details and more of their great posts:

One of the Halloween traditions in New York City is the Halloween Village Parade that can be summed up with one word – wild!I always have soooo much fun seeing the creative (funny, weird, scary, what the __ is that?, ooooh my …. kind of costume). Here are a few pics from the parade … including the famous hairstylist Edward Scissorhands, a ‘Cereal’ killer, and no … that isn’t the ‘real Lady Gaga’ … um, or maybe it is, even the Pope and Jesus joined the parade!
