Weekend Color Story … {my San Francisco trip | trolleys}

Happy weekend!!!!! I’m attaching a ‘few’ pics from my trip to San Francisco as promised. Today’s color story is based on the colorful streets in San Fran including their famous trolleys. Have you been to San Francisco? In the color collage I include red/white cabinet door knobs, ribbon, floral wrapping paper, San Francisco sticker which hubby and I received for laughing and smiling as we walked (seriously, we were stopped in the street and given the sticker …. I think at the moment we were laughing about how much our feet hurt from sooo much walking) …. …. map of San Francisco picking up the blue/green colors, and look closer ….. did you spot the freebie shampoo and lotion bottles we took from the hotel (we ‘had to’.. it’s freeeee .. haha). Here are more photo angles:

Here are some photos of our trip. Our hotel was in the Nob Hill neighborhood .. perfect walking distance from Union Square hood and the cool trolleys. I loved riding on the trolleys:

When the trolley arrives at its final destination it goes into a circle to be manually turned, that’s what the conductor is doing below (right/top photo). I also included photos from inside the trolley (wanted to take ‘you’ with me) :)

Aren’t the buildings lovely? .. and did you spot the steep hill up:

Check out the view (steep hill down and gorgeous view of the water). The little island spotted on the water below is Rikers Island (yeah, the ‘it used to be a prison’ one). Oh, we found out that Fisherman’s Wharf (pier near the water) is a hangout spot for chubby cute sea lions .. I’ll share pics of that in another post since this one is pretty long already.

We drove, ummm, again our feel where throbbing from walking soooo driving we went through Chinatown: Now here is the famous Lombard Street .. famous for being one of the crookedest – curvey – AND steep street in America. It was fun walking and driving through it. It was a work-out walking it, but oooh sooo beautiful:

I was in AWE when I spotted this house above in Lombard street elegantly being hugged by the tree branches. I find it so beautiful … I literally stared at it from bottom to top with my mouth open in awe. I hope the residents weren’t home .. if so they were probably thinking ‘when is this weird gal staring at our window going to leave’. Well, I did eventually leave, but of course took photos. I hope you enjoyed the photos and thanks for taking time from your day to simply chill and read/view my post. Have a great day. Oh, next Weekend Color Story I am sharing more photos .. the seals (sea lions), beach, gorgeous scenary, and my adventurous tour of San Francisco and nearby cities via seaplane (it was sooo much fun!), plus I reveal the color collage I created for those photos.  ~ Hugs!!!

    Oh I would love to be in San Francisco right now. It feels and looks like September in my neck of the woods. Thanks for the lovely tour.
