Weekend Color Story … { my hiking trip }

Hello my dear readers! How’s your weekend? Today’s color story is inspired from photos of a hiking trip. When I tell my friends I went hiking at a nature preserve they give me a ‘who are you?’ look(knowing I am the vegging-in-the-beach type of gal not the hiking type) and then they understand when I clarify that it also included a photography lesson taking photos during the hike (haha). The color story below has floor tile samples, color swatches, herbs .. and can you spot the olives? The inspirational photos of my hike includes a cutie-pie hedgehog (similar to a groundhog) that I started stalking .. sooo darn cute! I hope you enjoy the photos:

Here’s my hubby in the photo – his Spring jacket matching with nature:

Look how the hedgehog blends into the wood (probably thinking …. ‘they dooon’t seeeee me’ or ‘leave me alone lady’):

I feel I am getting so much better in taking photos. What do you think of my photos above? I would love to hear your feedback. Oh, the nature preserve I went to is called the Rye Marshlands Nature Preserve. Have a GORGEOUS weekend!
