I hope you loved my DIY stencil project featured in my Monday’s Make-it blog column. I purchased the stencil from Melanie Royals (from California) who is a self taught stencil and creative decorative artist. Her company, Royal Design Studio carries a variety of beautiful unique stencils … including the Moroccan stencil (design called Marrakesh .. a city in Morocco)that I purchased for my DIY. Here are a few of the stencils that she carries that I love. These are called 1. the Japanese Garden and 2. Ribbon Damask (which btw was featured by Martha Stewart Living in their 2011 Feb issue | congrats Melanie for being featured!!!):
Did you spot the one I used below? (my paint color was yellow). I find these (below) to be wonderful designs as well and check out the items around it … pillows, frame, photo, vase, etc. … how the colors flow so well). And dontcha LOVE the economical price of these stencils???
I hope you stop by Melanie’s website to see her design.
