Wednesday’s Wink … { Shark Decal in Kitchen}

That’s me above installing a SHARK wall decal. In a kids room? Nope! In a kitchen wall (hey, adults like to have FUN too right!). When I met my client I knew this was the perfect FUN decal for him (especially since he showed me the photo of his boat where him and his pals enjoy the pastime of fishing for sport). Installing decals is a delicate process:

… but ooooh how great it looks and so worth the SPLASH OF FUN in the wall and seeing my client happy smile (priceless!). Oh, by the way the decal is also a chalkboard!!!!! …. perfect for jotting down grocery lists or leaving messages. Here’s a closer look at the jolly shark:

To make the design EVEN MORE interesting I attached it to adjacent walls .. so it looks like it’s swimming from 1 wall to the other:

That’s me again (below) with chalk in hand:

Hmm, is the shark eyeing me????

Whatcha think of the design? Have you used or plan to use decals in your home?
