Hi ya’ll! Above is the wallpaper I selected for a wall in my home. Soft blue with a damask design for the WOW factor! Hubby helped with the installation, as for me …. I wrestled ‘taming’ the wallpaper – taking measurements (measuring 50 times, cutting once!).
I purchased it from The Wallpaper Company; style called … Antoinette Damask. When installing, up and down the ladder we went to make sure it fit perfectly. It’s strange seeing myself in the photo below with short hair (these pics are about 2 years old).
Here was the victim that I wanted to BEAUTIFY!:
The wallpaper already arrived with a glue adhesive that has to be ‘activited’ with water, so off to the tub we went …….
Splish splash, it was taking a bath …..
No, those are not MY hairy arms …
All smiles “in the beginning’, then zzzzz tired when all done ….
Who did I recruit? Hubby!!! 2 panels joined perfectly to look like a continuous design:
Details – cutting the outlet switch. Now, these ARE MY arms (non hairy):
Flushed the panels to the top of the corner, then trim trim trim:
I used a ruler to ‘evenly’ trim the bottom of the wallpaper:
Here’s a quick photo that I found on how it looked afterwards:
Do you like how it looks? Do you have any wallpaper in your home? I haven’t yet tested out the removable (temporary) wallpaper – which are a GREAT solutions for renters since when they are ready to move they simply remove the temp wallpaper (brilliant!!!).
