Look what hubby surprised me with? I loooove caviar! I was having an ultra busy day (like having to hibernate in my office to catch up kind of busy) when hubby get’s home and DECLARES that I cannot go into the kitchen (he was making something .. and he doesn’t want me to interrupt his creative culinary creativity). Hmmm, rude? Not when he walks into my office .. asks me to close my eyes .. and puts in front of me this creative dish …. that he put together:
I think I may had squealed OMG, CAVIAR (may had drooled a lil too)! We haven’t had caviar in a while (it’s a bit pricey!), but it was total perfect timing bec my stress (like the-shoulders-upto-my ears tight kind of stress) went away. That moment (unintentional by hubs) became my reminder of what was important = spending time with family. In reality the busy schedule that I have is created mostly by ME (with my oh I need to do this and that to doooooos list. | hmmm, sound familiar). This year I am taking a step back, and focusing on more of the ‘I want to do’s” instead of the “I need to do’s”, and thankfully I have a loving husband that whose gentle reminder moves mountains (of stress).
Oh, the caviar came in an approx 2″x2″ jar for (ready to faint) … $19.99. Hubby chopped chives + mixed it w/the caviar, then took the the cherry tomatoes and scooped the inside to form a lil bowl ….
… my job? was to eat it (yuuuuuuuum) and of course I had to dive for my camera to take pics ….
… practice my photography.
What is your once in a while treat?
Sticking with my doing more things that I “want to” instead of “need to” I will be publishing more behind-the-scenes pics tomorrow – featuring the living room installation I did. Last week I revealed the glam’ed up foyer and dining room design. See you tomorrow!

Oooh Ada, these look fabulous! I have to say that I am not the biggest fan of caviar! My biggest indulgence is sugar (not very original I know) but I limit myself to once a week so I really made it count… you can’t go wrong with a tub of haagen dazs!
Suuuuugar = yum! I am cutting down on my sugar intake this year which means = I CRAVE IT MORE (eek!).
