Pumpkins too large to carry by hand!

Above is a photoshoot I took of my top 3 resources of Halloween pumpkin inspiration (you can click on the pic to view it larger). Did you spot the little bat on the HUGE pumpkin? .. the pumpkin cookie smiles? … and the cat design on the pumpkin? I love flipping through catalogs and magazines for inspiration … and the happy feeling I get from seeing creative designs.

Below is a photo I took of the entry sign of a costume store near my town …. I admit I didn’t stay too long in the store … it was very spooky ‘to me’ .. with creepy scary costumes that features blood and skeletons … not my cup of tea (halloween-tea that is):

Below are the HUGE pumpkins spotted by my hubby and I when we went grocery shopping at Stew Leonards. They were soooo heavy that we didn’t get them, but we didn’t leave without striking a pose in front of them .. yes .. we are kids at heart:
