And we took it up a notch, we turned the tiny space into a living room area, with a dining area, and an office area - all with a huge splash of sophistication! COLORFUL HOMES in THULHAADHOO ISLAND (our little trip to the island)

1 COco Paalm Dhuni Kolhu

When we stayed in Dhuni Kolhu, Maldives, we had the chance to sail to a neighboring (non resort) island called Thulhaadhoo filled with colorful homes, beautiful smiles, unique hammocks (that I HAD TO swing on since I am obsessed with hammocks). There are no designated streets or sidewalk since the ground is all sand. It’s customary to take off your shoes when you enter a store or home. Check out the serene beautiful colors of the homes, the humongous breadfruit plants, and the beauty of it all. Oh, did I mention that there are bats - that have a wingspan of 36″ wide?  they are awesome! Check out the photos below.
