Wooohoooo, our eggplants are getting bigger in this Autumn weather. I love BBQing eggplants with mozzarella cheese sprinkled on top – delish. We didn’t do too bad this Spring in our garden, I especially loved the LOOK of our strawberries! Emphasize on just ‘the look’ bec they tasted a bit sour. We actually didn’t get much taste test days since squirrels and bunnies (and maybe even the baby skunk) that roam around here may had beat us to it. This year we planted basil, cilantro, banana peppers (seen below), and green sweet pepper:
We also planted a small tomatoes plant in early spring that grew to look like a forest and bloomed just 1 tomato thus far (haha). I LOOOOOVE visiting greenhouses/nurseries. If you feel stressed and want to save money (no entry fee at nursery shops), explore nurseries near you. Below are photos of one that I visit called Rosedale to get ideas for our garden and to DE-STRESS. As soon as we parked we spotted this AMAZING CAR ….. isn’t it gorgeous? No, it’s not a planter haha:
That’s hubby below striking a pose:
Now, aren’t these photos soooo relaxing …….
See the forest native below???? … my hubby.
Do you visit nurseries?

Going to nurseries has always been one of my favourite things to do – the colours, the smells, it’s all so soothing! I love your beautiful garden! I am normally a total disaster in the garden but this year have managed to grow more tomatoes than I know what to do with! I’m totally hooked!
