I hope you had a deliciously wonderful Thanksgiving Day! One of my family traditions is viewing the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in person …. it is always so much fun (yes, I turn into a kid). The weather was perfect, we got to sit on the benches (perfect view), drank hot chocolate to keep ourselves warm, and played with the beach ball that is thrown into the stands before the parade starts (the best part was hearing my mom’s laughter as she hit the beach ball several times), then came the floats; here are several photos ….
I didn’t recognize all the celebrities (but truth be told … I get more excited with the floats than seeing a celebrity wave). The funny actress from iCarly did catch my attention .. perhaps because of the adorable Despicable Me minions next to her. Did you spot the people dressed as leaves? The energy in the parade was wonderful …. of course I wave like a 5 year to every float, bands playing, and fun clowns parading! I hope you enjoyed the peek into my fun.

oooh looks fun… I wish we had something like that here in the Philippines too… Happy Thanksgiving… =)
April
Thanks April for the happy Thanksgiving wish
Have a beautiful day!!!!
I love it Ada! I’ve always wanted to see the parade in person. This year we did something different than usual for t-day and I missed the parade all together, I didn’t even remember until it was too late
Glad to hear that you enjoyed the photos! My favorite float is Snoopy … who starts the parade .. and it ends with Santa appearing on his sleigh. The spongebob float seemed a bit spooky .. as if he wanted to eat the people hahaha … maybe they look like crabbypatties!
