I took several pics of my home to show you how I (ummm, I mean weeeee - hubby and I) decorated for Christmas. Our Christmas ornaments blog post reveals our Christmas’ color theme – red and white. Here is our front door (I loooove how the bow looks … so whimsical):
We ALSO decorated our chandelier!!! This was my hubby’s idea after I cringed my face not wanting to add these long ornaments to our Christmas tree this year. I think it was a GREAT idea to give our chandelier some holiday cheer:
What do you think? Do you like it?
You can see a little bit of our Christmas tree in this photo below - reflected in the mirror:
And yes, EVEN OUR CEILING gets decorated (thank goodness for the invention of the removable adhesive hooks):
Here’s another view of our ceiling-hanging-ornaments below. Do you decorate your ceiling for the holidays?
Does this say March of the Wooden Soldiers movie with Laurel and Hardy (one of my fave Xmas movies) or what? :
And I looooooove this icicle look on our fireplace mantle below .. we got it last year for about $7 at the pharmacy store called Rite Aid. I love going down their holiday aisle.
It’s icycles are sheets that easily attach with removable adhesive glue:
And easily fold-able for the corner of our mantle:
Here’s a peek at it again, plus did you spot our red round ornament wreath? .. which I did not make (but DID YOU SEE the wreath that I made using cotton balls???).
I love solid color ornaments, and use them often as gift tags and writing messages on them:
Now, ready to see the CUTEST penguin EVER?
Isn’t he adorable??!!!! Oh, and tomorrow, I am going to show some cool gift tags that I created from a brown bag. Did you see the gift tags I created using photos?
