This week, we have two wonderful, crafty ideas for adding style AND organization to your home. Suesan from Frou-FruGal in Ohio, and Blair from Delights by Design in Wyoming were both able to see something special hidden within an old object, and used their creativity to make them come to life! Here’s Suesan’s message board, repurposed from an old window that she got for FREE.
Blair’s “calling card shelf” is made from an old, shallow shelf filled up with her cork collection.
Thanks to Suesan from frou-FruGal and Blair from delights by design for sharing their resourceful creativity.
As for this past weekend … Yesterday I was at a polo match (the game with the horsies) in Governors Island. It was my 1st time watching a polo match and it was sooo exciting to watch. The event was a benefit for Hope Help and Rebuilt Haiti, where the VIP section (ummm, not where I was) was filled with actors like Hugh Jackman and more – you can read more about it here, and governors island was filled with many many large elaborate unique hats (including mine .. large, not elborate) … you simply had to follow the hats to know where the polo game was located. I took tons of pics + vid which I will aim to post (probably even create a Weekend Color Story from the pics). Have a beautiful week!

Cheap DIY projects are the best projects especially in these times. So eco-friendly and easy on the wallet. Thanks for sharing!
I am a cork collector myself. This is a very cool idea.
