How was ur weekend? Mine was a well deserved rest from Friday’s photo/video shoot for one of my completed interior design projects – where I designed a studio apartment. I’m psyched about launching our video series (including the video shoot we took this Friday) – details to follow soooon this month. In today’s DIY check out how Christina from Down and Out Chic revamped some uuuuggggg (<- that translates to ‘really ugly + worn out’) coasters to look like brand new. See photos below .. showing the ewww before and the ooh la la (holy crapola) new look:
She used simple coasters, got rid of the ugly cork, used some pretty decorative paper, and a tool to smooth out the edges and she got these super trendy coasters! They look fancy (don’t ya think?), you would almost never guess that they used to be ordinary cork coasters! So, if you have some uuuggg coaster, go get them and revamp them. A big thanks to Christina from Down and Out Chic for the inspiration! Check out her step by step process here! Have a beautiful day!
