Monday’s Make-it …{ Thanksgiving Treat Holders }

How was your weekend?! I needed to catch up on rest so yesterday I had a total day of simply luxuriously vegging on the couch by the fireplace. Saturday, hubby and I rolled out our ginourmous pumkpins to the trash (so sad to say goodbye, but helloooo Turkey Day!). Can you believe it’s already less than two weeks until Thanksgiving? Time to start decorating! Sarah, owner and designer of Sheek Shindigs, loves traditional Thanksgiving decor and when we spotted her super cute sailboat treat holders we just had to share them with you:

She used easy-to-find felt for the “boat” and “sail”…

You can use it to hold yummy treats (if you’re not all candied-out from Halloween!) or even a place card for a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner! Check out Sarah’s blogsite for details on how to make this Thanksgiving treat holder. Thanks Sarah for your crafty inspirations!

Below, the photo from Pottery Barn Kids is where Sarah got her inspiration for this crafty idea. (See how great this looks as a place card?!)

      Besides candy corn .. there are tons of other yummy candies that can be used (and eaten!!). I may have to create this cute holder so I can have an excuse to have candy in the house!
