Monday’s Make-it … {create doily wall art!}

Amy from Mod Podge Rocks! is a huge decoupage fan. Her blog consists of her own creations using different kinds of Mod Podge. Here is one of her fantastic creations: an economical doily art, using $1 doilies from Michaels, Mod Podge, canvases and whole lot of ingenious.

Take a stroll to her blog to see more photos and her “grocery list” for this art! Thank’s Amy for sharing your great idea with us! I hope you are all inspired by it just like I was.

    So pretty! I have tried Mod Podge on canvas before and can’t get good adhesion without the paper bubbling up. I am going to check out the instructions for this project to see if I can figure out what I’m doing wrong. Thanks Ada!

      Hi Louise! Glad that u also find it pretty (yaaay!). With all the decoupage applications that I use, the more I plaster it on the less bubbly it gets .. most likely bec. the weight of the ‘glue’. So plaster on!!! Experiment with small samples to see which one grabs better for you. Good luck and as always … have FUN!!!
