My trip to Washington, DC (including the visit to the White House and The Capital) was GREAT – I posted a few pics of the trip including the gooorgeous interior of the Capital in Facebook. I admit, I thought I was going to be boorredzzzzz in the Capital Building, but no way … my eyes opened wide in awe as soon as we entered the hallways. In the White House we weren’t allowed to take pics (and I didn’t want to be tackled by their Secret Service agents which were EVERYWHERE .. so no pics. I fell in love with the decor and color scheme of their Blue Room and their Dancing Room! Made me wanna dance … but again I didn’t want to be tackled!
Today’s blog post I show how we kung foo’d our DISHEVELED garden. It was such a mess (ever since we moved to our home ~ 2 ys ago). Truth be told, it wasn’t even looking like a wall anymore. Sooooo, the mission … take the rocks out and stack them up – kung foo hayaaa karate chop:
Mission accomplished! Do you have a ‘beautifying’ mission to accomplish (outdoors or indoors) that u have been procrastinating to do?
Now to keep beautifying the garden. Look what I spotted on SALE?
Look who decided to come home with me? A cruising we went ….
Here’s the dual color dahlia. Aren’t they PRETTY? Ok, I won’t keep booooringzzz you with our excitement of our garden revamp, next Monday I will bring you back indoors and show you what I did in my kitchen … um, no, not my cooking … You will see the wall I painted BLACK. Yep, u read it right …. BLACK. Daa daa daaa <- that is my dramatic sound effect!
