Monday’s Make-it … {diy a faux zebra rug}

Hi everyone! I am back from Europe + have tons of pics to share with u. While I was away my marvelous intern, Jane, found today’s spectacular DIY which I LOVE. Here’s the reveal. Honestly, sometimes I am absolutely floored by the creativity and patience of crafty bloggers! Such as Mandi Gubler over at Vintage Revivals! She’s been called the MacGyver of DIYers, and it’s no wonder. Because when she found the perfect zebra rug but realized she could not afford the hefty $600 price tag, she did what any extreme DIY-er would do. Yep! She made her own!!!

She purchased 2 economical rugs, then created the zebra pattern design on one of them …

Here’s an overall photo of her room – gorgeous huh?! Hey, her wall patterns looks like the Morrocan design I stenciled in one of my DIYs.

Are you blown away by the rug or what?! Whatchathink of it? She’s proven to us that there is always a solution to getting what you want, without having to spend a fortune! Check out her blogsite for more photos and details of her fab diy zebra rug. Thank you so much Mandi, for sharing your amazing rug idea with us!
