Monday’s Make-it … {anthropologie inspired pears}

Happy Monday!!! We had several inches of snow this weekend (and I loved it!!!! … I just had to bundle up looking like a snowbear, but hey I kept warm). Ok, today I am super exited to announced that my company is going to be launching a store in etsy.com where we will be selling our custom made _________! Ok, ok am not revealing what YET! But here is a peek (more to come). Wanna guess??:

Ok, now onward to today’s make-it. I love Anthropologie and their unique home decor. Though, some of their home accessories can be a bit pricey sometimes. Luckily for us, Emily, the blogger of On the V Side (with the funny tag line ‘Martha Doesn’t Live Here’ hahaha), shows us how she created our very own Anthropologie-inspired home decor with ornaments she had in her home.

Pear-shaded tree ornaments from last Christmas, chipping with old paint, get a brand new makeover with some newspaper and mod-podge! That simple and fun.

Check out On the V Side blogsite for more info. For a splash of color, I suggest using colorful craft paper, or magazine pages for colorful words and images. Thank you so much, Emily, for sharing with us how to make our own easy to make Anthropologie-inspired decor!!

Stay tuned this week for more on our product launch reveal!!!

    Can I take a guess? Custom fabric! You’re going to make your clients really happy. Knowing you, they will also be affordable. Am I guessing right? Congratulations!

    I have to agree with you that Anthropologie has very cool stuff but can be pricey. This is such a clever idea to use old ornaments and newspaper. The rhino is cute too. That sounds so exciting!!!! The launch of the etsy store. Congrats :)
