How exciting … I was featured in a LA newspaper!

Woohooo! I was featured in the Los Angeles, California newspaper called La Opinion last month. It was lovely speaking with reporter Esmeralda Fabian on this article … including tips to welcome guests for the holidays when you have a small space. Here’s a quick photo of the page I was featured in:

My mother loved the article ..  not just for the tips I gave, but because it was in Spanish …  which meant that I had practice reading in Spanish.  

Also … pssssst …. I received an email from Julie Boskoff, a casting assistant for HGTV Design Star (HGTV’s reality competition series in their 6th season). It was great receiving the email from Julie, but I am not auditioning for it (competition is no longer my cup of tea), but hey maybe YOU want to audition for it? They are holding auditions in New York this Saturday January 8^th at the NYDC from 10 AM to 1 PM (address: 200 Lexington Ave. New York, NY 10016). This is what Julie mentioned that they are looking for: 

• Extensive design knowledge
• Personality that pops
• Passion for design
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm
• A clear and unique design perspective
