Hello All!!! I would like to introduce myself to all of our readers, I’m Myra, Ada’s design assistant. Today I’ve had the great opportunity of putting together this fantastic collage in hopes that it’ll provide lots of inspiration! Enjoy!
Happy (last Friday) of September!
The time has come to say Goodbye to the lovely summer days and embrace the Autumn breeze. Put on your lightweight scarves and boots, or you can choose to settle in with a nice, cozy throw blanket sipping on a warm cup of coffee or tea.
It’s early in the season, so if you’re still in denial about the lovely summer weather leaving us feel free to keep some of the beautiful summer colors, but don’t be afraid to add a splash of Autumn colors to the decor, it’s a fantastic collaboration!
The beauty of every new season is CHANGE. So, let’s watch the leaves change color and fall off the trees, and enjoy the wind blowing on the wonderful Autumn days!

Hi, it’s Ada here - an interior decorator {specializing in economical solutions} with clients throughout the USA, a team of wonderful assistants, accountants who keep telling me that I can’t write off Starbucks as a company expense (darn!), + contractors that help me bring my designs to life! I dabble in photography, love being married, and I am totally addicted to ice-cream - seriously a d d i c t e d!

Not only is your post inspiring, Myra, it is also a reminder that I better get on the task of replacing my wellies before the next tornado like rains hit the city!
Hi homestilo,
Thank you.. And I’m so happy I was able to provide some fall inspiration! I hope you were able to replace your wellies because we are expecting some showers this week
I am envious of your garden, Ada even if you are feeding the local wildlife – which can be frustrating. But I am sure there is plenty for you to enjoy, too. I did try cherry tomatoes years ago but gave up because I could not keep up with the work – someday, though. Great pics!
Hi Lisa, ooooh I see u r commenting to Sat’s post (http://www.adasinteriordesign.com/ourhebgarde/) ….. we love our garden too, every year we keep adding (experimenting) w/new plants. Our mission next year = TONS of peppers, cilantro, and basil (which we use a lot when cooking).
It’s hard saying farewell to summer, but the vibrant fall colors bring so much joy to our lives. I went Apple/Pumpkin picking this weekend and while driving I was so fascinated by the beauty of nature and all the variation of colors with the changing of the leaves.
The change in leaf colors r definitely fascinating! Hope u had FUN picking some apples/pumpkins!!!
