Wednesday’s Wink … e-design peek | living room in NYC

Today’s post features an eDesign that I created recently for clients in Manhattan (NYC). I received photos and measurements of their room then got to work finding furniture items, creating furniture placement layouts, etc. etc. FUN etc. Below’s a peek at the furniture placement. Their Profile Form mentioned that they love their window view so to ‘tame’ the busy bookcase and enhance their view I suggested that they mount MIRRORS onto their bookcase (labeled as #1 below):

Below is also a visual guide that I created for this client …. outlining their room photo while adding some of the recommended piece(s) to it to help them visualize the design.

Here’s their photo + some new items (mirror + chairs) that I recommended:

Ready to see moooooore? Here are other furniture items that I found for my clients:

I request clients to provide me with a list of items they wish to keep within their room), and my job is to make it ALL WORK = LOOK GREAT!! … functional/stylish/and within my clients budget. The 2 framed art pieces below are already owned by my clients. So I found these colorful wall decals that provide a great color balance and height.

So, how are you today?

Every comment is read, appreciated, and loved. To leave a comment please scroll down! ~ I do not reveal where I found any of the above items out of respect for my paying clients. For more information on getting your very own eDesign go here or email

I really love the visualization you did for them with the room photo- so clever!

Thanks!!! :) It’s important (especially since the design is virtual and I am not in their home) to help them visualize the design. AND, it makes it FUN!!! .. seeing their wall with new items.

Ada, the eDesign service is such a great option, this provides flexibility to many that may have a busy schedule, but it also allows the client to be hands on in putting together your vision, and they will be ecstatic when they come to see the finished product.

  3. How fun! I love that your interiors always include pops of color. You must find people who aren’t afraid of color (or do you talk them into it?).

    • Ada says:

Many love color, but their interior are beiges (bland zzz) bec they don’t know how to incorporate it so I help them TACKLE their fear and add color. With this client they had NO FEAR of color (did you see the artwork .. very colorful).
